Old English Game Bantams

The history of these fascinating birds dates back to the first century when a certain game fowl was introduced into modern-day Britain by the Roman Empire. After centuries of dedicated breeding, the Old English Game finally made its appearance in the poultry world. The birds’ fame became so widespread that a bantam variety was developed in the late 1700s. Since its introduction to the U.S, the Old English Game Bantam has become one of the most popular exhibition breeds. Despite their small size, these stout birds are remarkably hardy and enjoy spacious environments. Our particular strain of BB Red OEGBs includes reputable lines from Tracy Hill and Andy Barnes and is targeted at producing exhibition worthy cocks and cockerels.
