Originally native to “South China”, current day Vietnam, Japanese bantams were initially known as Chabo. This classic ornamental bird is widely recognized for its extremely short legs, their long and upright tails, and their impressively large comb and wattles. Japanese Bantams are without a doubt one of the cutest bantam breeds out there. While this breed features numerous different feather patterns, we selected the Black Tailed White variety for its iconic contrast of black and white and overall farmy appearance. Our birds were directly purchased from Master Breeder Tom Chandler in Freedom, Indiana with the aim of preserving this wonderful breed in all its unique aspects.
